The Weather
You’ll be camping out in a tent on the river and in a cabin at our
homestead. Weather in the Central Yukon varies from cool and wet (0 C at
night) to hot and dry (up to 30 above C in the daytime). Yes, we do have
mosquitos, but we have two ways, besides tolerance, that we have learned to
live with them and still thoroughly enjoy being outdoors. A good repellent
is number one, and also light long-sleeved shirts and long pants. |
